FAQs

Get ready for Radiant Plant to light up your home and complete your sanctuary.

Is this real?

Heck yeah, it’s real and it glows! Radiant Plant is a real, living plant that glows under UV light. It will continue to glow for its entire lifetime. No dyes or paints have been added. No special fertilizers or chemicals are needed. We designed each Radiant Plant to be bright enough to see under most lighting conditions.

What makes the plant glow?

We used biochemical inspiration and DNA sequences from corals and jellyfish which naturally glow under UV to create a patent-pending palette of glowing color genes. We used genetic engineering to permanently insert these genes into the plant genome. Every cell in a Radiant Plant has the program necessary to glow. The result is the world’s first multi-color set of glowing houseplants.

Is this plant hard to grow?

All our Radiant Plants are based on easy to grow houseplants that thrive on neglect. Our first releases will be new varieties of Golden pothos (Epipremnum aureum), a beautiful species that isn’t fussy. Our included lamp provides enough light for your Radiant Plant to thrive anywhere indoors. We want Radiant Plants to fit your style and add to your life without stress. Just water 1-2 times a week!
